In the Under 66KG Junior Category, Adam Mibsaam Saleem finished with a 195KG Squat, 112.5KG Bench Press and 230KG Deadlift for a total of 537.5KG, setting new Maldivian National Records for Squat, Bench Press, and Total in the Under 66KG Junior Category. He also won 3rd best Overall Male Lifter in the Championships.
In the Under 74KG Open Category, Imkan Ibrahim lifted 197.5KG in the Squat, 140KG in the Bench Press and 235KG in the Deadlift for a Total of 572.5KG. Imkan finished as the 2nd Best Male Lifter Overall at the Championships.
In addition to both athletes winning Gold medals in their respective categories and Best Lifter awards, their high placements within the competition overall adds to the growing tally of achievements by Maldivian lifters locally and internationally.
